New Orleans April 12 – April 16

Tish had a conference in New Orleans so Nick tagged along so we could have a spring adventure in this great town.

New Orleans
Rum Drinks!
Tish first had a morning presentation, but after the conference sessions it was time to go for a walk and find some food and drinks. We started to stroll down Magazine Street and after 2.5 miles made it to The Rum House (http://www.therumhouse.com/). They had great tacos and nice rum drinks.

While walking back towards the hotel we stopped at Peche (www.pecherestaurant.com) for oysters and a cocktail. Later in the evening we enjoyed dinner at Trenasse (www.trenasse.com). We ended the night with a classic New Orleans party drink and a walk around town. We found a fun jazz band on the street

The next day we were able to take in lunch at the St Roch Market (http://www.strochmarket.com/)

We had the opportunity to take in a walking history tour of New Orleans. Drink and Learn (http://drinkandlearn.com/) Since you can walk around with drinks the tour guide gave us a bag of drinks to accent the history lesson that we received on the tour. We finished the night with dinner and drinks at Cane & Table (http://caneandtablenola.com/)
