June 26 - June 28
For the last part of week 7, we headed to Santa Cruz for a few days. We stayed at the Santa Cruz Harbor (http://www.santacruzharbor.org/rvInformation.html). The first night we were able to walk the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (https://beachboardwalk.com/). Letitia road the roller coaster and we then walked along the pier and found our own private sea lion show.
The next day we both had to spend a good part of the day working, but having the harbor right out the front window made for a great work day view. Later in the afternoon, Nick was able to take work mobile and we got a chance to check out a couple of breweries in town. Turns out one was also a Pokemon gym (don't hate, but Letitia is enjoying the game and Nick is just excited that she is finally interested in some sort of video game). Nick bought a couple of beers to bring back to Denver. We found a slow, but nice Hawaiian restaurant for dinner.
It was a short trip to Santa Cruz, but a fun place to check out.
Also, Mikey got a bath. Not so special, except he was super cute when he just fell asleep in the towel while I was drying him off.
