Summer Week Four

June 2- June 4

We decided to take a little break from Napa and the RV so we headed to the San Francisco area for the weekend.  Friday night we stayed in Hayward (near Oakland) and checked out the small downtown.  Saturday we took Bart to the city.  It was Mikey's first train ride.  He wasn't really sure what to think about it, but didn't really get upset.

Sunday we made it back to Napa, got the RV, and took the short drive to Calistoga.  In Calistoga we stayed on the Calistoga RV park (http://www.calistogarvpark.org/).  It is located right in town so it was an easy walk to downtown.

June 4 - June 11

In Calistoga we were able to walk around the town, play some golf and travel down the road to visit St Helena.

Wineries we visited included Huge Bear, Tank Garage, Prager Port,  Yao Family Wines, and Merryvale.  When we lived in Plano, TX we lived on Prager Port Lane so we had to make sure to check out the place when we came to town.

We had dinners at Farmstead, Evangeline, and Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery.  One evening after some wine tasting we watched the movie Bottle Shock.  A local guy told us the bar in the movie was Susie's Bar so we checked that out the next day.  The owner is a big Broncos fan, so Nick felt at home.
