The summer adventure began right at 3pm on May 11. We pulled out of our RV storage and headed west down I-70
First stop: Moab, Utah. We met up with a bunch of friends and we all camped at Slickrock RV Park. The first day's activities was to go down the Colorado River. There was some fun minor rapids. The water was a bit cold, but it was a fun day.
On the 2nd day in Moab we went to Canyonlands National Park to take the Jeep off-roading. Our friend Josh also had a Jeep so we followed him down the trail. Our friends Jess & Ty joined in on the fun. We were able to make it to the end of the trail where we enjoyed the view.
On the 3rd day in Moab we had a great Sunday Brunch with the crew then those of us staying for one more night headed to check on a Winery. We are currently trying to check out wineries in every state so Utah is now checked off the list. After the winery we went to Arches National Park and took in the views from there.
On Monday, it was time to continue the journey west. We stayed the night in Cedar City Utah. We had a chance to catch up with our friend Geoff and his dog Titus. Geoff is in town for the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
We stayed at the Cedar City KOA
On Tuesday it was time to head to Vegas. Not too far of a trip from Cedar City. We pulled in the Oasis RV Resort in Vegas. A pretty fancy place. Got a chance to hang out at the pool for a bit and then had dinner at a Korean BBQ place.
